Spring Break Make & Take
About the Event

Our Spring Break Make & Takes offer families and visitors free, hands-on opportunities to engage with Cherokee culture through art and creativity.
On Thursday, March 19, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., seven Cherokee Nation attractions will feature a unique activity, encouraging guests to explore multiple sites during their visit.

The family-friendly activities at each location are listed below:

Cherokee National History Museum – Mini Gourd Necklace
Cherokee National Supreme Court Museum – Mini Booger Masks
John Ross Museum – Corn Husk Flowers
Cherokee National Prison Museum – Cornbead Bracelets
Sequoyah’s Cabin Museum – Twined Bracelets
Saline Courthouse Museum – Baskets
Cherokee Nation Anna Mitchell Cultural and Welcome Center – Clay Bead Bracelets

Craft materials and museum admission are free of charge. Spring Break Make & Takes are designed to support cultural preservation and lifelong learning while offering a welcoming and engaging Spring Break experience for all.
