Shadow Hardbarger (Cherokee/Crow) is an artist who dedicates herself to positively impacting Native communities through her art and designs. Supporting her community through her ribbon skirts is how her program, Creating with Purpose, began. As part of Creating with Purpose, Hardbarger raffles a skirt every month to raise money for someone in need or a community-based organization. She is currently
a student at Northeastern State University studying Cherokee Cultural Studies and linguistics with a focus on language revitalization. She resides in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.
