Join us Friday, December 6, for “Christmas on the Square,” a special holiday event in historic downtown Tahlequah. From 4 – 6 p.m., a variety of festive activities will take place on the grounds of the Cherokee National History Museum.
When you’re on the square, look for the gazebo, where you can take your family photos with Santa Claus and enjoy free refreshments. Inside of the Cherokee National History Museum, check out our make and take area, where you can create a fun Christmas ornament to hang on your tree. There also will be a holiday exhibit, “The First Cherokee Christmas,” that features fun family activities. The exhibit will run from December 3 through January 4, 2025.
