Dallin Maybee is Seneca and enrolled Northern Arapaho. Raised on the Cattaraugus Indian Reservation in Western New York, he is a multimedia artist working in a variety of forms. He is an accomplished Northern Traditional dancer as well as hoop dancer. He has traveled extensively throughout the world with various dance groups, including the acclaimed American Indian Dance Theater. His mediums include bead-work, oil painting, jewelry, ledger art, and carving. He has won numerous awards during his 20 year artist career including Best of Show at the prestigious Santa Fe Indian Market in 2011. His art can be found in private collections and museums including the Smithsonians' National Museum of the American Indian, the Autry Museum, the Heard Museum, and the Portland Art Museum. Dallin has a B.A. degree in Philosophy and a Juris Doctorate from the ASU College of Law. He is the former Chief Operating Officer of SWAIA, and currently works for the Native American Rights Fund.
