Purple Applique' Skirt

Type of art: Textiles

I love this skirt! It’s always fun to create a picture with applique’. This skirt is a beautiful purple cotton fabric with the hand drawn flowers and leaves individually laid out and sewn on. The flowers are sewn on top of coordinating satin ribbons and the hem is finished with a purple satin ribbon for that final touch. The waist is adjustable with buttonhole elastic and all seams have finished edges.
