WHERE HAS YOUR FLAG FLOWN?
CHEROKEE NATIONAL SUPREME COURT MUSEUM

From the capital of Cherokee Nation to Afghanistan, the "Where Has Your Flag Flown?" exhibit allows visitors to learn about the history of the modern flag of Cherokee Nation and the various symbolisms represented within the flag. Visitors also will learn about previous flags Cherokee Nation has used throughout history. 

Personal submitted stories and images will showcase how the modern flag has traveled the world alongside Cherokee Nation citizens representing their proud heritage. The exhibit also includes a children's area where kids can draw and create their own flag. 

The "Where Has Your Flag Flown?​" exhibit runs from June 14 to Jan. 31, 2020, and is housed in the oldest government building still standing in Oklahoma, the Cherokee National Supreme Court Museum​. The museum covers the history of the Cherokee judicial system, the Cherokee written language and the evolution of Cherokee journalism.

The Cherokee National Supreme Court Museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The museum is located at 122 E. Keetoowah St. in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.​​
