Light Up The Christmas Season

LIGHT UP THE CHRISTMAS SEASON
CHEROKEE NATIONAL CAPITOL SQUARE
DEC. 1, 4 PM – 8 PM

Join us Friday, Dec. 1, for “Light Up the Christmas Season,” a special event happening at Cherokee National Capitol Square. 

Activities begin at 4 pm, and the lights come on at dark. 

The Cherokee National Youth Choir will be on-site performing Christmas carols and First Lady Sherry Baker will read Christmas stories for the children in attendance. Free refreshments will be served to all and each child will receive an old-fashioned bag of candy and fruit.

While in downtown, be sure to check out the First Cherokee Christmas​ exhibit at the Cherokee National Supreme Court Museum, which will be open until 8 pm. The entirety of the Cherokee National Supreme Court Museum will be decked out in natural decorations common to the year 1805. 

Also, the Cort Mall will host a Holiday Open House featuring food and live music. All stores inside the Cort Mall also will be open until 8 pm.
